How do I shorten photo taking time after the wedding ceremony?

We have an hour before hand to do photos (Bride and Groom will NOT see eachother.) Then two hours to take photos after the ceremony. How do we cut the time down after the ceremony? Plus the photographer WANTS two hours...he is really into his job and he could take photos all day if he wanted to. Please help and no smart azz comments and links.
