I need some inspiration.?

im currently doing a photography course and have a project coming up. my subject is signs and symbols and i need ideas. i already have brainstormed, road signs, calligraphy, product labeling, warning signs (toxic, flammable etc.) i know it sounds as if i have quite a lot however the more topics and ideas i have the more chance i have of collecting a far larger and varied portfolio to hand in. even if your not sure about your idea id love to hear it.
