My dad yells at me everyday when i do nothing, i cry everyday now?

My dad is always either yelling at me or lecturing me. On my 16th birthday I got money from family and didn't tell him everyone who gave me money (I never have) and he found out 2 days later and SCREAMED at me. Legit ran up the stairs and was yelling at me until i was sobbing hysterically. He yells at me all the time for having a messy room and "wearing shoes too much." Over the weekend I went to a friend's (she lives in a condo) and I went to the wrong door (she lives in number 8, the door next to 7 had no number because it was a storage room but i didn't know/remember that), and later on he was yelling at me. He was asking how I didn't know that and I told him I made a mistake and he started yelling asking "HOW COULD YOU MAKE THAT MISTAKE?!". He called to yell at me right after school today, and i was listening to him and simply said "okay" occasionally in the conversation to prove I was listening and he told me "SHUT UP! I'M TALKING, YOU LISTEN!" I'm an honor roll student, have done nothing with a guy or anything wrong, and I'm very well behaved. I don't know what to do? I was honestly considering just running away or hurting myself today so I wouldn't have to go home to him. I'm so scared of him and he makes me unhappy. He has never hit me and he doesn't have any sort of addiction, I just don't know why he treats me like this :(
