Have a question about my period?

i lost my baby in feb. the nurses told me and i read in my paper work that i might not have a period for 3 mths, and thats exactly what happen i didnt have a period till May.well my problem is ....well i took this bus trip to Mex. and i was on the bus for 2 days and 2 nights when i got to mex. i started my period well the first day came down normal , but the second day it came down really heavy with big clogs..i was like that for 4 days i finally went to see a Dr. there in mex. and he gave me some pills and they did work well anyway..my period finally stopped..but then 1 1/2 weeks later coming home.another 2 days and 2 nights on the bus and having to transfer 3 times carring my heavy bags my period started again now i've been on it for 5 days, but its not heavy its normal...i'm alittle worried cause i never had a period twice in 1 mth...i went to the Dr and he gave me some provera and he says that sometimes that can happen... please someone tell me if it can be normal. im 40 yrs old
