Is it ok to put hot pans right out of the oven on my gl top stove? How about n granite countertops?

I don't reccoemnd you do that. You can buyt a Temp plate at Wallmart and put all your hot pots and stuff on that. It's gl and it wont' break under heat. It was desgined for that. It is called a hot plate.
