Does the New Testament give any advice on raising children?

Eph 5:21-6:4 for an example, Husbands love your wives, wives respect your husbands, Children obey your parents, Fathers do not exasperate your children. However these principles are all rooted in faith in God and his authority, so trying to use the bible as a parenting book without being a Christian is probably not going to work for you, as many of the attitudes and principles of Christianity expressed throughout the NT also factor into the family dynamic.
